2. CONNECT YOUR MIND TO YOUR PHYSICAL UNDERTAKING
Ask yourself what your goal is. I know this is probably an obvious answer, “I want to pass the Engineer in Training exam!”. Take it a step further than that, you will really set yourself in the right mindset to dominate the EIT exam.
3. THE POWER OF YOUR CALENDER
It’s typical for us Engineers to look for a fast forward button, to want to jump past all the “fluff” and get on to meat of the business. With every successful project in your life, there was a successful schedule attached to it. Preparing for the Engineer in Training exam is no different, scheduling how you are going to get from being un-certified to a certified EIT is worth your time. When you sit back and brainstorm/schedule how to get from point A to point B, you will set yourself up with a greater probability for success. By scheduling, you have the opportunity to expose possible obstacles, processes, and other restraints that are ineffective in getting the job down. You are able to effectively weed out the “fluff” that will really bog up the end result.
4. DEVELOP SUCCESS THROUGH SELF INFLICTED PAIN
Prior to you even starting your studies, get your hands on the best practice exams out there. I know the thought of sitting down for and giving yourself an exam is just ludicrous, but trust me, it pays off.
